The safety and well-being of our customers and our team is our primary concern and, in-line with the latest government advice and to help ensure we can offer the best customer experience in this difficult period, we have taken the decision to postpone all arrivals from today 25th March to at least the 14th April 2020.
This may be extended further dependent on Government advice to come in the coming days and weeks.
You will shortly receive email confirmation that bookings have now been postponed but please take this note as official confirmation that any bookings for arrival between 25th March and 14th April will be moved to a future date of your choice based on a like-for-like day/month basis, subject to availability. Alternatively, we are offering credit notes for the full amount of each booking which can be redeemed anywhere within the Signature Living Group at a later date.

Check-in is available from 3 pm onwards and check-out is at 11 am. If you require an early check-in or late check-out, please speak to a member of the reception team who will endeavour to help.
The Exchange Hotel is fully accessible to wheelchair users with designated accessible suites throughout the hotel with drop off access.
We furthermore welcome guide dogs to The Exchange Hotel, please advise a member of staff beforehand so we can make any arrangements.
We offer a bespoke concierge service at The Exchange. From making reservations at the best bars & restaurants to offering advice on things to do, our concierge service are here to help. You will be able to find our concierge within the reception area of the hotel or simply dial 0 on your in-room telephone.
We are required to take a security deposit for all bookings to cover the cost of any damages, thefts, smoking within your room or exceeding room capacity.
For rooms sleeping 2, a £50 pre-authorisation will be taken. Additional guests will increase the pre-authorisation by £50 per person during midweek and weekend stays.
For groups stays, a security deposit of £50 will be taken per person.
In both instances, this pre-authorisation will be held by your bank for 3-10 working days and will be released back to your account following checkout.
High speed, complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout The Exchange Hotel and in your suite.
Breakfast is served in our Culley’s Bar & Restaurant.

Saturdays/Sundays/All Bank Holidays: 08.00 – 11.00
Unless pre-booked or included in your rate, breakfast is charged at £15 per person.
We ask for full payment on or before check-in and we accept all major credit cards, The Exchange Hotel gift cards and cash. Unfortunately, we do not accept American Express credit cards.
If the event you are early for check-in or would like to spend your check-out day exploring Cardiff, we are happy to keep hold of your luggage at no additional cost. Simply speak to reception and a member of staff will be happy to help.
Our team are here to make your stay extra special, if you’re celebrating a special occasion please speak to reception before you arrive or take a look at our special packages where we can arrange balloons, fizz and rose petals to be waiting for you upon arrival.
There are a number of secure car parks located within close proximity to The Exchange Hotel.
There is furthermore street parking around the square however these are not long-stay spaces and there are time restrictions.
There is furthermore a drop-off point at the front of The Exchange Hotel.
We are pleased to be able to offer all our visitors discounted parking with Q-Park, our preferred parking partner. Q-Park operate the Cardiff Bay car park on Pierhead Street. Which is roughly an 8-minute walk from the Exchange Hotel. We have agreed a special discounted rate of 15% off when you pre-book online. Simply use promo code ‘exchange’ when booking. The Exchange Hotel is strictly a non-smoking hotel, however, there are designated smoking areas outside of the hotel.
Guests caught smoking in their suites will be fined accordingly.
