Oxfam began organising music festivals all over Britain more than a decade ago raising millions over the years to help do life-changing work in the most impoverished areas of the globe.
Since 2006 Cardiff Oxjam Music Festival has been an event the city looks forward to each year.
Starting with a build-up to the main weekend which involves lots of individual fundraising events including busk-a-thons and tea party get-togethers all over the city. The entire organisation is volunteer-led and all festival costs are covered by these events, allowing the full profit of the main weekend to go to the charities most important projects.
