This magnificent space is fantastically versatile. The hall can seat up to 650 guests in a theatre style layout or 245 in a cabaret style.
Alternatively, the hall can be hired for 400 guests in a banqueting layout or 800 people for a drinks reception.

During the Industrial Revolution, The Exchange Grand Hall played an integral role in Cardiff’s development.
The exquisite space saw business men gather during peak trading hours to make significant deals.
In 1901 the first £1 million business deal was made from the Exchange, placing Cardiff on the world map.
Today, the Grand Hall certainly hasn’t changed too much. Carefully restored, this striking space retains its decadence.

The BBC chose The Exchange Grand Hall as the location of their Christmas Day special: Tom Jones and Beverley Knight’s Gospel Christmas.
A magical festive celebration, this spectacular show saw legends Tom Jones and Beverley Knight take to the stage for a blend of gospel, carols and Christmas cheer.
Our Grand Hall looked truly dazzling as the talented duo performed for guests in this spectacular venue.

The Perfect Location
If you’re not a Cardiff local but you’re looking to host your event at The Exchange, worry not! There are plenty of ways to get to The Exchange in style and on time.
We’re within close proximity to Cardiff Central Station. When coming from the station, enjoy a 20-minute stroll or jump in a taxi for a short ride to the venue.
The Exchange can also be accessed via the M4 and etiehr taking the A48, A470 or A4232. After this,simply follow the signs to Cardiff Bay.
Upon arrival, you can find us just off the A4119 within Mount Stewart Square.
