The global tour of the Extreme Sailing Series will make its sixth stop in the city of Cardiff. Here a collection of the worlds most gifted sailing teams will come together to compete in daily races and put on impressive sailing performances to entertain the masses.

In a continuing celebration of Japanese culture visitors to Cardiff will have the chance to gaze upon fine art work created by Takumasa Ono at the HENRO exhibition this bank holiday weekend in Cardiff.

Japanese artist Ono has created amazing works of some of England and Wales’ most stunning National Trust properties in watercolour and traditional Japanese ink paintings, or screen prints.

The exhibition has been ongoing since 2001 and is always hosted at a landmark National Trust property in either England or Wales.

The Catholic roots organisation arranges life changing holidays for disabled and disadvantaged people around the UK and proceeds from the Duck Race at Roath Park will be donated to the cause.

Purchase your family’s ducks for just £1 each and if your duck comes in as a winner there are some awesome prizes to be won. There’s even a prize for the last duck over the line.

Even if you are just spectating the site of over 1000 ducks sailing their way beyond the lake and through Roath Park will be worth the visit.
