Whether you’re a self professed big kid or you have little ones of your own, we can’t think of many better places to spend Easter Sunday.
The scenic boat ride from Mermaid Quay is all part of the fun, turning an egg hunt into a fantastic day out.
Upon arrival you can set off egg hunting, wildlife watching and soaking up the history of this breathtaking island.
Easter Fun at Cardiff Castle

Cadbury Egg Hunt 2017 in Cardiff

One of the most magnificent spaces in Cardiff, spring has certainly sprung at Dyffryn Gardens with the Cadbury Egg Hunt in Cardiff.
Featuring vast Edwardian gardens, a stunning tropical glasshouse and an enchanting woodland, it’s the perfect Easter Bank Holiday family day out.
This Easter, the Cadbury Bunny has been up to no good hiding clues and tasty treats around the spacious Dyffryn Gardens.

Blaenavon Heritage Railway
When: 14th – 17th April 2017
Where: Brecon Beacons
Take a step back in time this Bank Holiday with an unforgettable Easter Bank Holiday at Blaenavon Heritage Railway. With approximately 3½ miles of track, the World Heritage Site is a go-to spot for sunny days off with the family in Cardiff.
For an underground tour, travel from the main station at Furnace Slidings to the Big Pit National Mining Museum. The second journey will take you to Coed Avon and Blaenavon where you can head off to explore the Heritage Town and Ironworks.
